Developing Contrast Principle in Sketch-Up

I am now getting towards the end of the project so I have begun to develop my design principles further using Sketch-Up. I feel that at this stage they are quite basic and not as technical as I would like them to be.

The following are some screen-shots of different angles as I develop my Contrast principle:

This is a top view of a development of my contrast principle. I wanted to experiment to see what it would look like when I changed the orientation and scale of my different star models and then duplicating my the model many many times. In the end it creates this which I really do like, however it may be too much?
The front view of the model. With the different orientations and scales of the different starts, when I look at this view I have the visual association with an eye of a storm as it swirls down into the eye.
Side-view which shows the spiralling effect that is created through the different heights on the y-axis when I created the model to duplicate multiple times.
Other side-view.
This and the screenshot below are both perspective views that help to show the vortex shape or the spiralling effect that is created. To be honest, the more I look at this model the more I am excited to try and contextualise it.

The following screenshots are the model that I made before I duplicated to make the vortex 3D model that is above. As I stated in previous descriptions and you can see, I have played around with scale and orientation before multiplying it as a whole. And because they are not on the same axis that is what created the spiralling layering effect that you can see when viewing the above model from the sides.

A top view.
Finally another perspective view.
