Final Sketch-Up Developments

The following are my final sketch-up developments for the design principles that I was not happy with or I just wanted to make another to allow to experiment more when I get to the Entourage stage where I begin to contextualise my models.

They are as follows:

Hierarchy:
So I felt that even though I had quite a few 3D models already for my hierarchy principle, I wanted to create another due to the fact that my previous models sort of moved quite far away from the principle itself. I will keep the previous models and create contextualisations with them as well, I just wanted to create another model.
Hierarchy:
Front view of the model. The principle of hierarchy is much more clearer in this model than my previous.
Hierarchy:
Side-view
Hierarchy:
Full perspective view of model. Sort of reminds me of a floating land mass..?
Hierarchy:
Close-up of model. Emphasis on my pattern.
Rhythm:
In this case, I was not really happy with where my models were heading in my previous  developments -
Developing Rhythm Principle in Sketch-up

I have gone back to my drawings earlier in the project where I had the idea of my model being like a jigsaw puzzle. I have used this idea but instead of making it join multiple times into one large model, I decided to only join them once, and instead make duplicates and tower them on top of one another whilst spinning each layer of the tower to make like a spiralling look. Once I had made my large model, I then duplicated the whole model and scaled it down to create the idea of repetition.

I will be moving forward using this as my final 3D model to contextualise it.
Rhythm:
Top view of my model.

Rhythm:
Side-view. The shadows help to create the sense of scale between the two different towers. It also helps to convey the form within each tower as it emphasises the movement of each layer of my tower to help create the spiralling look.
Rhythm:
Perspective View.
Rhythm:
Lower angle perspective view.

Rhythm:
Another perspective view.
