Developing Rhythm Principle in Sketch-Up

I am now getting towards the end of the project so I have begun to develop my design principles further using Sketch-Up. I feel that at this stage they are quite basic and not as technical as I would like them to be.

The following are some screen-shots of different angles as I develop my Rhythm principle:

Top view:
I have multiplied my original model and stacked it on top of each other to make a basic tower.

Front View:
Showing the stacking as I mentioned above.
Perspective View
The shadows really help to create a strong sense of realism in my model.

Perspective View:
This is another development / experiment in which I have duplicated my original model around a centre point. I have used small angle which many duplicates so that they overlap multiple times to create an interesting pattern on the sides of the model.
Looking from below the two models.
Back View:
This view helps to create the sense of scale of the two models.
A side view with the edge style turned off so it is a combination of my pattern and shading that create the shape of the model.
Same as above, just another perspective view.
Trying to show some of the pattern created through the overlapping of my model multiple times. Also what the top of the model looks like.
